About the Role

We're hiring a Special Projects Foreman to oversee daily operations across quarry and sand and gravel sites, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining safety, compliance, and efficiency. This is a fulltime leadership position responsible for supervising crews, coordinating work activities, and supporting special projects across multiple locations.


What You'll Do
  • Supervise employees and daytoday site operations, including work scheduling and production coordination
  • Ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently
  • Train, mentor, and develop new and existing team members
  • Serve as the onsite safety leader, including daily inspections, PPE enforcement, toolbox talks, and incident reporting
  • Schedule and oversee equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Monitor material and supply inventory and coordinate needs as required
  • Maintain accurate records for production, personnel, and safety activity
  • Communicate progress, issues, and delays to the Aggregate Operations Manager
  • Operate equipment and assist in field work as needed during peak or critical periods
  • Travel to multiple sites as required
  • Maintain regular inperson attendance

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and site observation
  • Ability to safely access and navigate quarry and aggregate facilities, including climbing ladders
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours as operational needs require

What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in earthwork and site preparation operations
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or foreman experience
  • Strong understanding of MSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to read and interpret topography maps, reclamation maps, and site plans
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in fastpaced or highpressure situations
