Job description

The Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Systems Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Sterile Processing Management (SPM) system across the Surgical Services Division and ensuring effective operations and providing support for the various systems utilized in the department as required. Serves as a liaison and partners closely with Information Technology and Network Systems division during system implementations, upgrades and issue resolution. The Coordinator leads the design, testing, reporting, analysis and support of SPD-related informatics, with a focus on maintaining the integrity of the instrument tracking system. The Coordinator will carry out duties in alignment with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications
Five (5) years of related information technology and systems experience with a minimum of three (3) years of Sterile Processing Management (SPM) system operations. Minimum of three (3) years of SPD Technician experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
CRCST Certified
