The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) is seeking a Psychological Associate I. These positions are in various locations across the state.

Salary Range: $38,364.00 - $64,152.00
Note: The starting salary is determined based on education, experience, or a combination of both.

Job Summary:

The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) is seeking a Psychological Associate I. These positions are in various locations across the state.

This is an entry-level, full-time professional position in the performance of psychological services and research. This position provides supportive guidance and direction to inmates that suffer from psychological conditions.

Applicants must meet the requirements below:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in psychology, plus at least one course in psychological testing.
  • One (1) year experience in substance abuse counseling.

Original transcripts issued to students, photocopies of transcripts, and faxed transcripts will be accepted. Information obtained from the internet will NOT be accepted.
