We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold an active TS/SCI clearance and work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base. This critical role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage substantive experience in cloud development with a strong preference for expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build robust cloud-based applications.
  • Ensure that the applications are scalable, secure, and cost-effective by utilizing the best practices and services provided by AWS.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments, which is highly desired for this role.
  • Engage in daily interactions with customers to understand their requirements and provide suitable cloud-based solutions.
  • Prepare comprehensive architectural designs that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Develop roadmaps to guide the implementation and evolution of cloud solutions over time.
  • Produce detailed documentation to support the design, development, and deployment processes, ensuring clarity and reproducibility.
  • Deliver professional presentations to stakeholders, articulating complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.

Qualifications:

  • Security+ Certification or any DOD IAT Level II Certification.
  • Cloud development experience with a strong preference for expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
