Job Summary
We are seeking a Spanish speaking Medical Receptionist / Assistant to join our team! As a staff member, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing paitent files before their arrival, providing admin support to our Medical providers, Physical Therapists, and support staff, and assisting with incoming referrals, set up of patients' visit schedules to ensure everything runs smoothly for patient care. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working health environment, and has previous office experience. Spanish speakers is a definite plus as we have a large percentage of our patients that speak spanish!
Responsibilities
  • Prepare for the patient visit, including setting up and pulling charts, setting up insurance guarantors, and collecting copayments
  • Answer phones and setting up patient appointments
  • Assist patients to schedule their care visit for therapy
  • Organize and process incoming faxes, lab results, referral sheets and general office duties
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills, including in person and on phone
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Spanish speakers is a definite plus!
  • Four hands and Six legs (just kidding but we are a busy office :)
