Work Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm
Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Spanish Legal Analyst to support a federal agency's international trade and labor initiatives. The analyst will conduct legal and regulatory research, analyze Spanish-language materials, and develop reports, policy analyses, and briefing materials for government stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct legal, regulatory, legislative, and policy research related to international trade.
  • Research and analyze Mexican laws, regulations, government policies, and labor requirements.
  • Review Spanish-language legal and regulatory documents and prepare English-language summaries and analysis.
  • Support research involving labor obligations, workers' rights, and enforcement activities.
  • Prepare research memoranda, reports, issue papers, presentations, and executive briefings.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting implementation.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, policy analysts, trade specialists, and federal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate research documentation and supporting sources.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, International Affairs, or related field.
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and English, including the ability to analyze Spanish-language legal documents.
  • 3+ years of legal, regulatory, policy, legislative, or international trade research experience.
  • Experience researching Mexican or Latin American laws, regulations, or policies.
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
