The salary range reflects the 32-hour schedule Responsible for providing Spanish language instruction to students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade, as well as coordinating school-wide events like Hispanic heritage day. This role is primary instruction in Spanish

Works closely with the school administration and faculty to maintain a positive and effective learning environment. Teach Spanish language classes to students in grades K-5 and additional grade levels as the school expands. Implement the approved Spanish curriculum and provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction that promotes language acquisition and cultural awareness.

Assess student progress using established rubrics and evaluation tools. Provide grades and written comments to classroom teachers for inclusion in trimester report cards. Assist in the ongoing development, evaluation, and improvement of the school's Spanish curriculum.

Aligns curriculum with Biblical worldview including prayers, worship songs, and Bible verses throughout the instructional day. Under the direction of the School Administrator, assists in preparing students and adults participating in school mission trips where Spanish communication skills would be beneficial. Create and maintain classroom displays, bulletin boards, and visual aids that support Spanish language learning and student engagement.

Attend professional development workshops, conferences, and training opportunities as requested by school administration. Communicate effectively with parents regarding progress, grades, and concerns about their child(ren) and communicates with other teachers as the teacher of record for Spanish instruction. Reports incidents (e.g

fights, suspected child abuse, suspected substance abuse, harassment, zero tolerance offenses etc.) maintaining personal safety of students. Respond in emergency situations by resolving immediate safety concerns and/or directing appropriate per Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in applicable field plus Teaching Credential (Must at least be in the process of pursuing a credential).
