Job Description
As a Security Officer Spanish Speaking / Patrol in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting people, communicating clearly, and working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and assist with security-related concerns such as suspicious behavior, loitering, and/or policy violations.
  • Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by documenting incidents, communicating with site contacts, and helping to maintain an orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
