What we are looking for:
An experienced Excavator Operator for our Asheboro, NC area projects who can Safely operate the equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform documented pre-shift 360 walk-around inspection of the equipment
  • Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate such stated equipment.
  • Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
  • Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and material.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • must perform daily maintenance and housekeeping including inspection, checking fluid levels, greasing, and cleaning.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures
  • Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience operating excavators -GPS experience preferred
  • Must have finished grading operating experience.
  • Experience with basic tools and mechanically inclined.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • A thorough knowledge about safety precautions while working
  • Work requires exposure to construction site environments having extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, hazardous substances, and loud noise levels
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Provide personal transportation to and from the job site
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to change
