Job Title: Bilingual Receptionist

Location: Houston, TX

Pay: $24 -$25 / Hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Our client is seeking a Bilingual Receptionist / HR Administrative Assistant to support our HR team and serve as the first point of contact for candidates, employees, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check in candidates arriving for interviews and assist with the check-in process for other visitors.
  • Verify that applications are complete in the ATS system prior to incoming interviews.
  • Pull and verify required electrical licenses for candidates.
  • Assist walk-in applicants with completing the company's employment application.
  • Support new-hire orientation by pulling, organizing, and issuing required safety PPE.
  • Scan and electronically file various HR and administrative documents.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area and candidate experience.
  • Handle a limited number of incoming phone calls and direct calls as appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and candidate information.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative, receptionist, HR, or related experience.
  • HR experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Professional and personable communication style.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must be available to start ASAP!!
