Social Worker MSW and Social Worker LCSW at Providence St. Vincent's Medical Center- On-Call, Day Schedule

This is a combined posting for a Social Worker MSW and Social Worker LCSW. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. If you have the qualifications of any one of these three positions, we encourage you to apply.

The CSWA Social Worker, under direct and continuous supervision, provides comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis and/or treatment/interventions/advocacy of patients and their support systems. The CSWA incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change. The CSWA will collaborate with the patient and support system(s) to develop and implement evidence-informed person-centered care plans across the care continuum in collaboration with the Inter/Multi-Disciplinary Team (IDT). The CSWA shall perform duties in a manner that respects patient self-determination that reduces health disparities/barriers to care and adheres to the NASW code of ethics and Standards of Practice (SOP).

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) independently provides comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis and/or treatment/interventions/advocacy of patients and their support systems. The LCSW incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change. The LCSW will collaborate with the patient and support system to develop and implement evidence-informed person-centered care plans across the care continuum in collaboration with the Inter/Multi-Disciplinary Team (IDT). Social Workers work closely with various departments throughout the PHS. They work with all inpatient or outpatient population. The LCSW shall perform duties in a manner that respects patient self-determination, that reduces health disparities/barriers to care, and adheres to the NASW code of ethics, Standards of Practice (SOP), and mission.

Social Worker MSW

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree - Social Worker.
  • Oregon Clinical Social Work Associate License within 60 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years - Clinical work experience within healthcare, hospice and/or bereavement.

Social Worker MSWS, Salary Range:

Portland, OR - Min: $36.99, Max: $57.44

Social Worker LCSW

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree Social Work from a CSWE Accredited School of Social Work, OR from a school in candidacy status by the council of Social Work Education (CSWE).
  • Upon hire: Oregon Clinical Social Worker License Or
  • Upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License
  • License in states wherever care is delivered
  • 2 years Relevant Social Work experience. May include CSWA experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year All EMPL's: Care Management: Experience in acute care settings.

Portland, OR - Min: $41.63, Max: $64.63
