Job description

Quantum Space is redefining mobility and autonomy beyond Earth orbit. Our Ranger spacecraft deliver high delta-V and sustained on-orbit maneuverability, enabling missions across cislunar and geostationary space that were previously out of reach. We are building the vehicles, infrastructure, and operational expertise that connect and protect assets across the Earth-Moon system.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to help build the team that will shape the future of space mobility. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent across engineering, manufacturing, mission operations, and corporate functions.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys building talent pipelines for hard-to-fill technical positions. You will play a critical role in scaling the organization by delivering a world-class candidate experience while serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
This role will be onsite in our Hawthorne, CA office. This role is open to contract only with eligibility to convert.
Where You'll Make an Impact
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across a variety of technical and business functions, including engineering, manufacturing, program management, and operations
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategies, and candidate profiles
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates through multiple channels
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Manage candidate communications and ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process
  • Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
  • Advise hiring managers on market trends, talent availability, compensation expectations, and recruiting best practices
  • Meet recruiting metrics expectations, pipeline activity, and hiring progress
  • Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen Quantum Space's visibility within the aerospace and engineering communities
  • Represent Quantum Space at industry events, career fairs, university recruiting events, and networking opportunities
What It Takes
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical recruiting
  • Proven success recruiting engineers and other highly specialized technical talent
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse ATS, and other recruiting platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Passion for delivering a high-quality candidate experience
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Experience recruiting within aerospace, defense, space, robotics, advanced manufacturing, or other highly technical industries
  • Experience supporting hiring in startup or high-growth environments
  • Experience recruiting candidates requiring security clearances or working within export-controlled environments
  • Knowledge of compensation benchmarking and talent market trends
What You'll Get
Ownership - Direct impact on building the team that will shape the future of space mobility
Exposure - Partner closely with executive leadership, hiring managers, and technical teams across the organization
Growth - Opportunity to help scale a rapidly growing space company and influence recruiting strategy
Location: Hawthorne, CA
Compensation: $70 to $80 hourly
