Position Summary

The Associate Space Analyst (ASA) is a foundational role that completes a wide variety of important space and analytical assignments for the Category Management (CM) and Sales teams. The ASA brings strong technical skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to quickly master new tools and processes. They play a key role in assisting category teams, executing space management projects, and ensuring that Constellation delivers reliable, high-quality category management solutions for our partners.

This ASA role is designed to prepare employees for future Category Management opportunities. While the position may be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States, candidates must demonstrate geographic flexibility and a willingness to relocate within the U.S. upon successful completion of the training program and readiness for advancement, when a Category Management position becomes available.

Responsibilities

  • Manage or assist in space management projects.

  • Conducts space planning, drawing and validation of sets projects.

  • Assist with the collection of raw customer data for use in space planning software.

  • Manipulate, cleanse, combine, analyze, and validate data from multiple data sources.

  • Follow retailer standards and merchandising guidelines.

  • Updates, manages, and refines scorecards and reports to measure results.

  • Coordinate with IT and technical teams to ensure efficient use of technology.

  • Engage with Category Leadership team to plan, meet expectations, and ensure successful completion of assortment and space planning projects.

  • Support space and assortment opportunities aligned with the strategic direction of Category Leadership activities.

  • Utilize multiple Category Leadership technology platforms to perform daily activities.

  • Train to become an expert user of space planning and assortment software, processes, and solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.

  • Strong technical skills with analytical experience (may include an internship) that was focused on food and beverage retailing or merchandising, or sales experience from any industry.

  • Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action and adjust to change are key attributes of this role.

  • Ability to apply logic and rules to prepare data for categorization and analysis.

  • Above average user of Microsoft Excel, and an average user of PowerPoint and Word. Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to travel by plane approximately 10%.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear.

  • Must have close vision, distant vision, ability to adjust focus, peripheral and color vision.

  • Must be able to work in an office environment primarily but periodically required to work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and lighting.

  • Should be able to lift 40 lbs. on occasion.

The salary range for this role is:

$58,800.00 - $120,700.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
