Financial models include but are not limited to pro-forma capitalizations, liquidation waterfalls, merger consideration spreadsheets, voting models, and IPO S-1 models. • Advising the internal deal team using the knowledge gained from analysis, and answering any questions that may arise regarding data, analytical methods, and the assumptions used to build the work product
• Producing client-ready financial models and effectively communicating analysis and work product to partners, associates, and external clients
• Maintaining detailed records documenting procedures, methodologies, and sources of information used while performing analytical tasks
• Participating in education classes for our attorneys related to quantitative analysis work
• Developing and maintaining training materials such as reference guides, training presentations, a library of training exercises, and tip sheets
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• A financial / industry qualification (CFA) or a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) is ideal
• A minimum of five (5) years of related analytical experience at a professional services organization in corporate finance, consulting, or M&A, as well as experience working on ad-hoc requests and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Compensation & Benefits
Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
