This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: Troubadour Golf & Field Club, set outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
Troubadour Gold & Field Club is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join the Wellness Department.
The Massage Therapist will consult with members to assess their requirements, make informed recommendations and explain services, assist them to select appropriate treatments, and ensure their care and satisfaction. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.
***Hourly rate starting at $20 per hour + Gratuities***

Key Responsibilities
Welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms, and thanking them sincerely on departure.
Adhering to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring time schedule.
Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests and preferences.
Maintain knowledge of Spa Menu and products to accurately relay information and provide suggestions on all products and services within the Spa and Wellness Facilities.
Conducts a thorough health and skincare consultation prior to each service to deliver a personalized experience for each member and guest. Confirms contra-indications, allergies or any other health or skin-related conditions prior to providing each service.
Provides massage and body treatments from the Spa Menu for members and guests in accordance with the company's standards.
Provides confident post treatment care recommendations, as well as offers support to member and guests within the retail area.
Develop professional client relationship with members to build client rapport, and promote additional spa treatments, products, packages, special promotions and other events.
Maintain treatment records and knowledge of care plan to continually support health and wellness programs.
Maintain member and guest confidentiality.
Keep working areas organized, clean, and sanitary per state board regulations.
Comply with State Health and Wellness regulations.
Complete all opening and closing procedures and daily/weekly side work, including service room organization and cleaning, maintaining linens and laundry, and wellness area care.
Monitors the status of all spa equipment, tools and venue and immediately notifies the Spa Manager if there is any maintenance or repair required.
Assist the team with taking appointments, scheduling, answering questions and calls.
Professionally handle and discreetly inform supervisor or member complaints or inappropriate guest behavior.
Adhere to uniform and appearance standards.
Assist other Wellness team members with spa operations.
Qualifications
State licensure to practice as a Massage Therapist.
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional degrees and certifications preferred.
Minimum two (2) years experience as an Massage Therapist or Spa/Beauty Therapist.
Prior experience in luxury resorts, spas, or private clubs, preferred.
Outstanding people skills and a warm, friendly personality.
Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product lines.
Deep knowledge of skin care techniques. Specialized treatment knowledge and experience highly preferred.
Additional Requirements
Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
