Job Description
Position Summary

Responsible for driving business growth and operational performance within the Renewable Energy division by leading sales initiatives, customer development, inventory management, cost management, and cross-functional operations.

Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development
  • Lead business growth initiatives within the renewable energy division through customer acquisition, account development, and revenue expansion strategies.
  • Manage and grow strategic customer relationships and key accounts to support long-term business partnerships.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies, including expansion across assigned territories (including BC).
  • Lead quotation strategy, pipeline management, and opportunity follow-up to maximize conversion and revenue outcomes.
  • Identify market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities within the renewable energy sector.
  • Contribute to annual sales planning, forecasting, and revenue target development.
Technical & Operational Support
  • Provide product and technical guidance to customers to support solution selection and application requirements.
  • Act as a primary commercial contact for solar product inquiries and customer solution support.
  • Support internal teams in resolving product-related questions to improve response efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Inventory & supply chain management
  • Oversee branch-level inventory planning for solar products to support sales demand.
  • Coordinate demand forecasting and stock planning in collaboration with supply chain teams.
  • Manage purchase order placement and vendor coordination to support product availability.
  • Monitor shipments and delivery timelines to ensure continuity of supply for customer requirements.
  • Support optimization of inventory levels and working capital efficiency through improved forecasting accuracy.
PC Cost, SPA, and margin control
  • Support pricing strategy execution and maintain alignment with company pricing standards.
  • Assist in monitoring margin performance and ensuring pricing discipline across accounts.
  • Coordinate SPA (Special Pricing Agreement) processes with key vendors such as SolarEdge and Enphase Energy.
  • Support profitability tracking and margin improvement initiatives within the division.
Reports and MIS
  • Prepare and analyze monthly sales reports and performance dashboards.
  • Maintain reporting tools and dashboards using systems such as P21 and Power BI.
  • Generate product-level and regional performance analysis to support decision-making.
Pricing & Strategic Initiatives
  • Support implementation of pricing tools, financing programs (e.g., FinanceIt), and commercial initiatives.
  • Contribute to development and refinement of sales processes, SOPs, and operational improvements.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, customer experience, and revenue performance.

  • Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or technical product environment is an asset
