The Spa Attendant is essential in creating a seamless and restorative experience for every spa guest. This role supports the team by ensuring every space- treatment areas, locker rooms, and shared facilities- is impeccably maintained through thoughtful cleaning, organization, and a mindful approach to service. They are expected to perform the responsibilities as outlined below, while always reflecting the deepest respect for the guest journey.  

 Pay Rate: $18-$21.00 per hour 

Shift: 3pm to 9pm - weekends a must 

 Job Responsibilities: 

  • Guest Experience & Service 
  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism; provide tours of spa facilities upon arrival 
  • Engage guests with genuine, courteous and personalized service that reflects Forbes and Mirbeau’s Standards of Excellence 
  • Use guest names during interactions and stay informed about spa services and functions to address guest questions 
  • Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality for all guests at all times 
  • Ensure all guest-facing areas reflect a calm, welcoming and pristine environment 
  • Consistently exceed guest expectations through attentive and thoughtful service 
  • Facility Cleanliness & Presentation 
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all spa areas, including: 
  • Men's locker room(s) 
  • Resting areas 
  • Fitness room 
  • Aqua Terrace 
  • Spa treatment rooms 
  • Outdoor areas (as applicable) 
  • Clear all areas of dirty linen, glassware, and trash promptly 
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, sinks, mirrors and high-touch surfaces as needed 
  • Wax and polish surfaces periodically to maintain appearance 
  • Ensure spa amenities (saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, foot pools, fireplaces, etc) are clean and functioning properly 
  • Regularly check all areas of the spa for cleanliness and guest readiness 
  • Linens & Supplies 
  • Deliver fresh, clean linens and guest supplies to locker rooms and towel stations 
  • Collect and sort soiled linens into appropriate bins and transport to the proper laundry areas 
  • Set up and refresh lounge chairs with towels and pillows 
  • Monitor inventory of linen and guest supplies; communicate any shortages to the Spa Director 
  • Maintain organized and stocked attendant closets and amenity areas throughout the spa 
  • Assist in the Laundry Department as needed 
  • Operational Support & Safety 
  • Follow all spa cleaning protocols using only company-approved cleaning products  
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks meet Forbes and Mirbeau spa facility standards 
  • Maintain knowledge of all relevant standard operating procedures (related to the Spa Attendant role) 
  • Monitor and immediately report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and guest-related incidents to the Spa Desk or Spa Director- maintaining clear, timely communication 
  • Stay current with company policies and resort-wide standards 
  • Work cooperatively and professionally with all spa and resort departments and team members 
  • General Duties & Expectations 
  • Report to work on time in a clean uniform with name tag 
  • Complete all required paperwork, documentation and shift tasks accurately 
  • Attend all required trainings and team meetings 
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Spa Desk or Spa Director 

 Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift 
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs for extended periods as needed
