SUMMARY:  

The Spa Coordinator at Grand View Spa is an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences. They will ensure guests have an enjoyable, relaxing experience by engaging with them in a courteous and efficient manner. The Spa Coordinator is responsible for checking in and out of guests, scheduling appointments, greeting, and escorting guests to treatment areas, all while providing information concerning Spa facilities, retail, amenities, and treatments. Additionally, the Spa Coordinator supports the cleanliness and maintenance of standards in all guest amenity areas of the spa.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Greet guests as they enter the Spa

• Provide guests with tours and information related to the Spa and its features

• Assist guests with any questions they may have

• Answer telephone calls and emails based on standards of excellence

• Take appointments either by phone, email or in person and scheduling them correctly with the perfect spa day for the guest in mind  

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Spa services, products, and procedures

• Coordinate with the service providers to ensure timely execution of services

• Maintain thorough knowledge of and adherence to all procedures, protocols, and standards of the spa

• Thoroughly understand and adhere to proper credit, check cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures

• Assist with retail sales, restocking inventory and cleanliness in the Spa Boutique

• Perform daily tasks as detailed on checklists and SOP’s

• Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance based on Pyramid Appearance Standards

• Keep women’s and men’s areas clean, orderly, and well stocked with guest supplies

• Always provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests and exemplify the SKR & Spa Culture.

• Market the spa internally and externally by attending special events when requested  

• Comply with all SKR & Spa policies and procedures.

• Report any accidents or injuries immediately to Spa Director

• Report immediately all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions

• Maintain the safety of work areas

• Attend all mandatory meetings

• Perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed by Spa and SKR Management


JOB REQUIRMENTS: • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit • Must possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal • Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written • Must possess excellent communication and listening skills  • Must be flexible on working days, mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays  • Must report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in compliance with Pyramid Appearance Standards • Must be professional and friendly in demeanor. • Must always ensure a teamwork environment • Must be able to think proactively • Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with guests and associates • Must have the ability to resolve conflicts in a constructive and tactful manner  • Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests


EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications such as: Word, Excel, and Outlook • Hospitality experience with knowledge of Spa industry a plus
