Job description

Water's Edge Resort & Spa is seeking a detail-orientedAccounting Clerk to join our Accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, this position is responsible for daily revenue reporting, electronic deposits, and general accounting support in a fast-paced resort environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prepare daily accounting reports
  • Audit transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Process remotedeposits and maintain deposit records
  • Prepare daily revenue, cashier, and labor reports
  • Assist withaccount reconciliations, and general accounting tasks
  • Support timeshare payment processing and month-end reporting
  • Provide administrative support, including mail distribution andreception duties

Qualifications:

  • Previous cash handling, bookkeeping, accounting, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines
  • Experience with hotel PMS or POS systems (Maestro, Toast, or similar) is a plus
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
