Job Summary
Supports and administers People & Culture (P&C) generalist initiatives at a business unit that align with organizational goals and values. Supports P&C planning, policy development, talent management, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture. Partners with leadership and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to drive performance, growth, and compliance across all P&C functions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supports front-line leadership with the management of team member relations cases, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes.
  • Administers HRIS and other People & Culture (P&C)-related systems to ensure efficient processes, data accuracy, and effective reporting.
  • Supports initiatives to determine hiring needs, workforce planning, and succession planning strategies while ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives by partnering with stakeholders.
  • Assesses P&C processes and programs to identify areas for improvement and recommends strategies for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in line with business goals.
  • Provides support and intake for all P&C-related initiatives and issues for the specific business unit level.
  • Informs front-line leadership on best practices in people management, compliance, and team member engagement strategies, and fostering professional growth.
  • Implements and supports business unit engagement strategies, utilizing data to generate action plans that drive a positive workplace culture.
  • Adheres to P&C policies and legal requirements, ensuring compliance with labor laws and advising management on best practices.
  • Advises individuals to ensure all P&C activities and initiatives are aligned with the company's strategic objectives, while also supporting individual career development.
  • Supports onboarding and training initiatives at the business unit level.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Years of Experience: 2-4 years
Preferred Education & Experience
Licenses/Certificates: Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
Years of Experience: 5-7 Years
Field of Expertise: Manufacturing and/or Distribution; relevant industry experience
Bilingual abilities are a plus (Spanish)
