POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth maintenance operations by managing workflows, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team to order necessary parts and materials.
  • Contact vendors and manufacturers to check parts availability and warranty status.
  • Direct work tickets and manage workflow to appropriate departments.
  • Review and screen submitted job tickets to ensure all required information is complete.
  • Work closely with Shipping and Receiving to confirm maintenance orders are accounted for.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and operational needs.
  • Work with maintenance management software or CMMS systems.
  • Actively promote and uphold a strong safety culture by demonstrating personal responsibility, adhering to all safety protocols, and ensuring that every task is performed with the highest regard for health and safety.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to perform each essential duty daily.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk or computer, with regular use of hands and fingers for typing, using a computer mouse, and handling documents.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Primarily works in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to temperature changes.
  • Involves interaction with colleagues and occasional participation in meetings, both in-person and virtual.
  • Occasional visits to the Fabrication shop which is an industrial manufacturing environment with heavy machinery, forklifts and overhead cranes, and exposure to temperature changes and loud noises. Visits require use of PPE such as gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and safety-toe footwear required.
