Job description

At AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company, we're proud to manufacture some of the most critical products in waterworks, energy, and infrastructure, including ductile iron and spiral-weld pipe. We're looking for a hands-on Materials/Metallurgical Manufacturing Engineer to help drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials/Metallurgical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort working in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to be a hands-on, shop-floor-oriented engineer
  • Proficiency with standard software tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and measuring instruments
  • Flexibility to work occasional extended hours, weekends, or travel as needed
  • Valid driver's license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate education, professional certifications, or Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Leadership or project management experience in a manufacturing setting
