Charleston Southern University


Position Overview

The College of Science and Mathematics at Charleston Southern University is seeking applications for an Instructor of Mathematics position.


Key Responsibilities

Teach 24 credit hours per year (12 each major semester). This position may be expected to teach a combination of traditional undergraduate courses on-campus and dual-credit classes taught at local high schools.  Additional responsibilities include serving the university on faculty committees, participating in department meetings and trainings, and performing other tasks as assigned by the departmental chairperson.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a M.S. in Mathematics or related field, with 18+ credit hours in graduate level mathematics.  Preference will be given to those candidates with experience teaching mathematics service courses (including College Algebra) and/or dual enrollment math courses.
