Position Summary

The Steel Stud Framer / Carpenter at Suburban Drywall is responsible for constructing the structural framework of commercial and residential buildings. This role involves measuring, cutting, and assembling metal to build walls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings
  • Measure, cut, and install steel studs
  • Informs the foreman of any immediate discrepancies for framing or sheathing
  • Follows and listens to specific interior and exterior framing instructions
