Job description

We are seeking a Pipe Welder to become an integral part of our team! The welder will be working on a variety of commercial mechanical pipe systems across Middle TN.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding tasks on a jobsite in order to meet the projects specific requirements, specifications, and local codes.
  • Read and comprehend blueprints to properly install welded pipe.
  • Assist pipe fitter as necessary.
  • Install complete mechanical piping systems including welded pipe at large diameters and soldered / threaded / grooved pipe.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience welding commercial mechanical piping.
  • Must be able to pass 6G SMAW weld test.
  • Must be able to efficiently weld steel pipe.
  • Must be able to operate a cutting torch.
  • Must be able to work in around Nashville, TN.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Must be able to solder pipe.
  • Must be able to run a pipe groover.
  • Must be able to run a pipe thread machine.
