Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Crusoe's Compute supply chain runs around the clock and across continents. As we scale GPU and CPU server deployments globally, we need a sourcing specialist who can act as the connective tissue between deployment, procurement, and vendor operations for our global Compute category.

This is a hands-on execution role and you will report to the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, Compute and work as part of a globally distributed team supporting GPU/CPU server programs across all Crusoe data centers. Your scope covers BOM management, supplier onboarding, RFQ execution, and procurement operations for Crusoe Cloud's compute infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with deep hardware fluency and proven procurement execution who is ready to step into a strategic sourcing track.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • BOM and Hardware Sourcing Execution: Support BOM planning, hardware requisitions, and procurement execution for GPU and CPU server deployments across all Crusoe data centers, partnering with deployment engineering and cloud operations teams.

  • Global Supplier Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for global Compute suppliers (OEMs, ODMs, and component vendors), driving timely responses on quotes, lead times, and shipment status.

  • RFQ and Quote Management: Lead RFQ cycles for compute hardware in partnership with the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, including quote analysis, supplier comparison, and recommendation packages.

  • Purchase Order Lifecycle: Own end-to-end PO creation, change orders, invoice reconciliation, and payment follow-up in Coupa for the Compute category.

  • Supplier Onboarding and Compliance: Drive supplier onboarding, NDA coordination, and vendor compliance documentation for new and existing Compute suppliers.

  • DCIM and Asset Accuracy: Maintain accurate hardware tracking in NetBox/DCIM systems for deployments and ensure data integrity across procurement and asset records.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Deployment, Cloud Operations, Finance, Legal, and Logistics to unblock procurement issues and keep deployments on schedule.

  • Urgent Deployment Support: Provide rapid-response procurement support for critical data center deployments, including expedites and emergency sourcing.

  • Reporting and Visibility: Prepare procurement status reports, PO trackers, and supplier performance updates for the Compute leadership team.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement workflow improvements across procurement operations, with particular focus on automation opportunities using modern tools.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or hardware deployment operations, preferably for data center, cloud, or hardware supply chains.

  • Hardware Fluency: Strong working knowledge of compute server hardware (GPU servers, CPU servers, components) and ability to read BOMs, specs, and vendor quotes at the component level.

  • Procurement Operations: Hands-on experience with Coupa or a comparable ERP/procurement platform, including PO management, supplier onboarding, and invoice reconciliation.

  • DCIM / Asset Tracking: Working experience with NetBox, ServiceNow, or similar DCIM/asset management tools.

  • Vendor Coordination: Track record of managing OEM, ODM, distributor, or VAR relationships at an operational level.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively across time zones with a globally distributed team.

  • Process Orientation: Highly organized, with a track record of building or improving procurement and operations workflows.

  • Compliance: Must be able to pass a background check.

  • Authorization: Authorized to work in Ireland, or eligible for Crusoe-sponsored relocation and work authorization.

Bonus Points:

  • Hands-on experience with HPE, Dell, Supermicro, or major ODMs (Quanta, Wiwynn, Foxconn, Inventec, Hon Hai).

  • Experience supporting GPU server programs (NVIDIA H100/H200/B200/GB200 generations or equivalent).

  • Automation and scripting exposure (Python, SQL, Power Automate, or comparable).

  • Active use of modern AI tools (Claude, Gemini, Copilot, NotebookLM) for procurement workflows, vendor communication, or analysis.

  • Prior experience in a hyperscaler, cloud, or large-scale data center procurement environment.

  • Familiarity with international import/export, customs, and trade compliance for hardware (US, EU, APAC).

  • Must be able to pass a background check

  • Embody the Company values

Benefits:

  • Competitive Paid Time Off

  • Industry competitive pay

  • Retirement benefits

  • Healthcare benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision

  • Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance

  • Life Insurance

  • Paid Parental Leave

  • Subscription to Calm App

Compensation Range:

Compensation will be paid in the range of $120,000 - $145,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
