Sourcing Intern information

What are some common challenges a sourcing intern might face during their internship?

As a Sourcing Intern, you may encounter challenges such as navigating complex supplier databases, understanding procurement processes, and managing communication across different teams. Familiarity with procurement software, spreadsheets, and databases, as well as knowledge of sourcing platforms, is often required. Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities help you collaborate with vendors and internal teams. These skills ensure efficient sourcing processes, cost savings, and support the organization's procurement goals.
