Job Description:
Our Sourcing team oversees the development and bulk production of product from initial design through final delivery. By sourcing the highest quality raw materials, communicating with vendors daily, and managing execution and follow-up for a specific product category in one of our brands, our Sourcing team ensures the timely delivery of quality, profitable goods. The Assistant / Associate Sourcing Specialist works closely with Graphic Design, Tech Design, Merchandising, Apparel Design, Legal, and Merchandise Planning to manage product strategy and hit business goals.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
  • Maintaining and developing vendor relationships to ensure key partnerships for future growth.
  • Working with Sourcing leadership & Legal to create product that is compliant with our contracts with licensors.
  • Providing direct communication and support to vendors daily.
  • Working closely with production managers to monitor schedule and delivery.
  • Evaluating weekly Work in Progress (WIP) report to troubleshoot production issues and assist merchant team in identifying issues.
  • Maintaining production on order tools.
  • Working with Production Coordinator to execute systems work for purchase order creation, costing, and maintenance.
  • Following up on all submits and samples and communicating comments to overseas offices/agents.
  • Managing raw material submits and testing and art approvals
  • Collaborating on fabric development to identify sourcing strategy and needs.

What Do You Need To Bring?
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Production/Sourcing
  • Previous experience/exposure to international factories/vendors required
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and multi-tasking skills
  • A strong desire for adventure & curiosity with a desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, structured environment
  • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners to achieve the vision of the brand
