Bring Better to the Bedside as a Hospital Medicine Physician in Grand Blanc, Michigan at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital

We believe in bringing "better" to our local community in Grand Blanc, Michigan—better care, better collaboration, and a deep commitment to the people we serve. We'd love to talk if you're looking for a role that supports your professional growth and connection to a vibrant community.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 16 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners with the support of a practice coordinator and clinical performance nurse at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital.
  • We take pride in our relationship with the hospital and are involved in committees ranging from CHF to mortality.
  • We meet monthly for team meetings and internal staff meetings. These are intended to update the team on hospital or group initiatives, discuss barriers, and highlight providers making a difference.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
  • New internal medicine graduates, internal medicine residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • We proudly support both H1 and J1 Visa Candidates who can take advantage of Sound’s excellent in-house visa specialists and our licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered by Sound.

Scheduling:

  • Our Hospitalists follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation. The shifts are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We welcome the challenge of complex cases. There is a closed ICU with intensivist coverage. Our team is not expected to do procedures.
  • Residents run codes and rapids, and our team attends to our patients.

Living and Working in Grand Blanc:

  • Grand Blanc isn’t just where we work—it’s where we live and enjoy the charm of a welcoming, family-friendly community. With its beautiful parks, top-rated schools, and vibrant local events, Grand Blanc offers a balanced lifestyle, suburban tranquility, and easy access to city amenities. Whether exploring the outdoors, enjoying local shops, or connecting with neighbors, you can truly feel at home in Grand Blanc.
  • Our guiding principle is patient-first care, which means we focus on the people of Grand Blanc and nearby areas. You’ll be part of a team that’s making a real difference in the health of our neighbors.
  • We’re a community-minded team and encourage our team members who want to contribute in and out of the hospital to help make our local community thrive.

Rewards and Compensation:

  • Comprehensive compensation and rewards package.
