Job description

Sound Physicians is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team at ProMedica Charles Virginia Hickman Hospital in Adrian, MI. This role offers the opportunity to work in a patient-first medical group that values clinical judgment and supports professional growth. The position involves collaborating with a close-knit team and contributing to a cohesive, patient-focused environment.

Practice Info

  • Join a team of 8 physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) at ProMedica Charles Virginia Hickman Hospital.
  • Strong partnerships across the hospital, including a solid working relationship with Sound’s hospitalist program.
  • Stable nursing environment with experienced, engaged, and supportive nurses and ED staff.
  • Team-oriented culture with mutual respect and shared goals.
  • Accountable, on-site leadership with a local medical director.
  • ProMedica Charles Virginia Hickman Hospital is a 58-bed Level IV trauma center with a 27-bed emergency department, certified as a stroke center.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care at ProMedica Charles Virginia Hickman Hospital.
  • Respond to floor codes.
  • Utilize EPIC as an EMR.

Compensation

  • W-2 $240/hour for all shifts.
  • Paid malpractice, including tail coverage.
