What You'll Do
As a CNC Operator, you will play a key role in producing high-quality products that meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming billets and materials for quality and accuracy.
  • Stock and organize inventory and production materials.
  • Utilize precision measuring equipment including Vision Measuring Systems (VMS), Caliper, & Micrometers.
  • Set up machine programs based on seal type specifications and dimensional requirements.
  • Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret production orders and work instructions.
  • Machine parts according to customer specifications and required tolerance.
  • Perform quality inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support overall production and customer service objectives as needed.

Schedule and Training
This position includes a structured onboarding and training period designed to help new operators build confidence and become successful in the role.
Typical training schedule may include:
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM for approximately 2 months
  • 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM for approximately 1 month
  • 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM for approximately 1 month

Following training, operators will transition to managing their own shift. Final shift assignments are flexible based on business needs and employee aptitude but will typically begin after 5:00 PM.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to see and hear clearly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to accurately read measuring devices and inspect small components.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Manufacturing, machining, CNC operation, or quality inspection experience is preferred but not required.
