Job description

Title: Intermediate Graphics Engineer (Videography, Video Editing, Photography) Clearance Type: Secret Scope: Provide professional videography and video editing services to support the creation, production, and dissemination of high-quality multimedia content across multiple platforms, including internal communication channels, public-facing websites, and social media. Demonstrate proficiency in camera operation, lighting, audio recording, video editing software, and post-production processes. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) : * Capture high-definition video footage of events, interviews, training sessions, and promotional content in both studio and field environments. * Edit raw video content into professional-quality final products using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent. * Integrate graphics, titles, animations, transitions, sound effects, and music into video projects to enhance storytelling and engagement. * Develop and edit video packages suitable for social media, web, and internal/external distribution, ensuring alignment with branding and messaging guidelines. * Collaborate with subject matter experts, public affairs, and communications staff to develop video concepts and storyboards that effectively communicate key messages. * Ensure all video and audio content meets accessibility standards, including the addition of closed captions and descriptive audio when required. * Provide on-site videography support for live events, ceremonies, conferences, and training exercises, including setup and operation of recording equipment. * Maintain and organize digital video archives, including raw footage, B-roll, and completed productions, using a consistent and logical file management structure. * Troubleshoot technical issues related to video production, including camera, lighting, and audio equipment. * Create motion graphics and visual effects to support dynamic video content, including lower thirds, kinetic text, and logo animations. * Conduct video color correction, sound leveling, and other post-production enhancements to ensure professional quality output. * Adhere to Department of Defense (DoD), Army, and CPE IEW&S branding, privacy, and security guidelines in all video products. * Manage production timelines to meet deadlines and support project planning with realistic delivery schedules. * Coordinate with graphic designers, web developers and communications staff to integrate video content into larger multimedia campaigns. * Serve as Defense Visual Information Distribution Service contributor, uploading content as well as sourcing visuals from the service. Qualifications Required Qualifications : * Bachelor's degree in graphic design, photography, videography, art, advertising or a related field. * A minimum of four (4) years' experience in the field of photography, videography, video editing or related fields. * Can be substituted with an additional years' experience, portfolio can be substituted for a degree and field of study.
