About the Role
We are seeking a Digital Media Associate Editor to support the digital and social media growth of Milling amp; Baking News. In this role, you will develop engaging digital content, strengthen brand awareness, and connect with a specialized B2B audience across the website, social media, and digital newsletters. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented digital storyteller with strong writing and editing skills, sound news judgment, and an understanding of how audiences engage with content online.
What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Create impactful editorial content for the website, social media, and digital newsletters, including news, press releases, product innovations, and industry trend coverage.
  • Curate and organize e-newsletters to improve open rates, reader engagement, and overall digital performance.
  • Source or create graphics, video, and audio assets that support compelling digital storytelling.
  • Edit and resize images using Photoshop or similar digital editing tools.
  • Build and maintain industry sources to support relevant, accurate, and timely coverage.
  • Monitor digital performance benchmarks and prepare analytic reports that help improve online engagement and activity.
  • Assist with content development and copy editing for the print publication as assigned.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network with experts, build subject matter knowledge, and create show-related coverage.
