Editing
  • In-house editing of on-brand videos and select footage for various sources of media (podcasts, organic/paid social, short-form videos, internal testimonies, etc.) following the brand consistencies and standards of e3 and IAS initiatives with a trained and expert eye.
  • Edit multiple videos weekly, creating intriguing visuals and stories.
  • Ensure deadlines and post-production targets are consistently met by managing projects from inception to completion and delivering all video assets efficiently, accurately and on time.
  • Proficiency in cutting-edge programs (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite, Opus, etc.) and remaining current on editing trends and tools, best practices and emerging editing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of social media storytelling, trends and platform best practices, with the ability to create and optimize engaging content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, paid ads and emerging digital platforms.
  • Ability to re-innovate existing content, editing it into promos, highlights, and short-form content.

Requirements
Required Education & Experience
  • Must share a digital portfolio and/or samples of past work.
  • To be considered, you may be asked to complete a filming test at our in-house studio during the interview process.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Film, Media Production, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in video production and editing.

Editing

  • Applying color correction, sound design, sound mixing, audio editing, static and motion graphics, platform-specific optimization, etc., while incorporating feedback and following the brand consistencies and standards of e3 and IAS initiatives.
    • Strong hands-on experience with professional camera systems, lighting and grip and audio capture for interviews and productions.
    • Solid understanding of media workflows, video production workflows (pre, production & post) brand consistency, and best practices across web, interactive and social media channels.
    • Proficiency with industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Frame.io, Opus, etc.). Bonus in DaVinci Resolve & After Effects.
    • Comfortable working in a Mac environment with advanced knowledge of media-related software and tools.
    • Photography experience is a plus.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Detail oriented with ability to juggle multiple projects, address priorities and needs and meet deadlines simultaneously.
    • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset with other team members is a must.
    • Bonus if you have Drone experience and FAA Part 107 certification (or willingness to obtain).
    • Bonus if you have experience in faith-based, nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.

Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree or higher level.
