Sound Anesthesia, in partnership with Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast, is seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist in Miramar Beach, FL. This role offers an opportunity to provide leadership and clinical excellence within a collaborative team environment. Practice Info

  • Strong collaboration between all 5 physicians and 19 CRNAs on the team.
  • Recently earned Level II Maternal Care verification by The Joint Commission in 2025.
  • Voted Best Hospital for Maternity Care by Newsweek.

Responsibilities

  • Provide perioperative and postoperative care for Sacred Heart Emerald Coast, which covers general, ortho (including spine), and OB/GYN services.
  • Establish and maintain standards of patient care as it relates to anesthesia, in conjunction with the Medical Staff of the Facility.
  • Initiate medical care evaluation studies after consultation with administration of the Facility and as needed to ensure quality patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care services provided within the Department and take appropriate action based on such findings.
  • Represent the department on the Medical Staff of the facility.
  • Serve as liaison between the department and other departments of the Facility.
  • Attend and report on activities of the Department at the various committees and general meetings.
  • Work closely with Sound, hospital administrators, and surgeons.

Compensation

  • Robust compensation package with guaranteed base salary and opportunity to maximize income.
  • Annual chief stipend of $30,000 for admin duties.
  • $100,000 commencement bonus.
  • W2 and 1099 options available, your choice.

Shift & Schedule

  • 1:5 physician rotation with a guaranteed post call day off.
  • Home call.
  • 10 weeks guaranteed off annually.

Requirements

  • Completion of a US Residency.
  • Board certification in Anesthesia.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • No visa sponsorship available.
