This position operates within a remote work setting, allowing for flexible scheduling which facilitates a healthy work-life balance. While most sessions occur virtually, you will have the opportunity to engage in occasional in-person consultations at our outpatient office. Our team collaborates closely using digital tools and platforms to ensure seamless communication and patient management.

• Establish and maintain supportive, trusting therapeutic relationships with clients to foster their engagement and commitment to treatment.
• Diagnose mental health disorders and develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual or couple.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions, couples therapy, and group sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
• Regularly assess and evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment approaches as necessary to enhance effectiveness and client outcomes.
• Document all sessions and treatment plans within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and strategies that support the collective goals of the organization.

As a LMFT at Heart Mind Soul Therapy, Inc., you will serve a diverse clientele that includes individuals from various backgrounds and demographics. Your work will focus on addressing a range of issues, including but not limited to emotional distress, relationship challenges, trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. Your skills will be vital in helping clients regain stability and thrive in their lives.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices, with a focus on family systems and relational dynamics.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate clients effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing patient records and treatment documentation.

• Experience in addiction counseling or familiarity with substance abuse treatment methodologies.
• Knowledge of co-occurring disorders, and evidence-based practices relevant to substance use and mental health treatments.
• Previous experience providing teletherapy and familiarity with virtual counseling platforms.
