Job Description Overview *** This position is contingent upon contract award *** SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Fire Safety Specialist to provide support for a Facilities and Life Support Contract performed at an overseas location. Essential Job Duties * Must have a willingness to work on a call-in basis to resolve equipment deficiencies impacting facility operations. Qualifications Minimum Requirements * Active in scope Secret security clearance.
* Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the installation of fire detection, alarm, control, and suppression systems.
* Must have reach-back capability of a professional engineer licensee resource available that holds, as a minimum, a National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level III and be a certified technician in fire protection systems who is legally qualified to practice in the United States with the requisite experience. Additional Information Work Environment * Must reside at an overseas location.
* Long hours, exposure to harsh weather and other hazardous conditions.
* Wearing of location appropriate PPE and clothing when in the field is required.
