Sorting & Rework Associate
Location: Dexter, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $16.00 per hour
Job Summary
We're seeking a dependable Sorting Associate to join a growing manufacturing team in Dexter, MI. In this role, you'll be responsible for sorting, inspecting, reworking, and deburring parts as needed to ensure quality standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing, assembly, or quality inspection experience who is looking to join a family-owned company with long-term growth potential.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Sorting Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Part Sorting & Inspection: Sort parts that have been identified for quality concerns and inspect them to ensure they meet customer and production requirements.
  • Rework & Deburring: Rework parts when possible and perform deburring or other light finishing tasks as needed.
  • Quality Support: Assist production and quality teams by identifying defects, maintaining accurate counts, and ensuring only acceptable parts move forward in the process.
In addition, you will maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all safety and quality procedures, and assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, sorting, inspection, or production experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
