Job description

Summary :

This position will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular Preventive Maintenance (PM) and equipment modification. May also be involved with basic mechanical or electrical work as needed.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and controls to ensure operating condition
  • Communicate directly with production departments to coordinate preventative maintenance and any troubleshooting work in production
  • Prepare and manage periodic preventative maintenance schedules
  • Record/keep all documents related to preventive maintenance and troubleshooting work (including daily reports and check sheets)
  • Prepare/keep
  • Coordinate with outside vendors/sources to schedule maintenance for any complex issues
  • Mentor and train new maintenance technicians
  • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards

  • Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Minimum of 8 years of maintenance experience in production/plant environment
  • High School Diploma/General Educational Development or higher degree required
  • Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) for a period of up to 12 hours
    • Safety glasses
    • Steel-toed shoes
  • Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours
    • Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
    • Stoop, twist, bend
