Summer Program Overview
Our 10-week Summer Program provides students with an exceptional learning opportunity. The program provides full immersion into the small, dynamic teams that drive Apollo's innovative investment strategies and access to an unparalleled, apprenticeship learning experience. The program includes mentoring, citizenship projects, unique learning experiences and networking, social events, and a speaker series with senior leaders. You will work closely day-to-day with colleagues at every level, experiencing what it means to be a member of the Apollo community. POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Apollo Opportunity Foundation is seeking a Summer Analyst to contribute to AOF's programs, events, and mission. There are a variety of projects and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
AOF Programs
  • Contribute to overall AOF grantmaking process, including qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with non-profit partners across global regions to offer a range of engagement opportunities for the employee base.
  • Draft internal and external communications, including but not limited AOF organization profiles and Leading Responsibly series on LinkedIn and Apollo's intranet site (Today@Apollo).
  • Serve as point person for annual Changemakers program, featuring students from TEAK Fellowship and Futures & Options.
AOF Events
  • Coordinate and plan meaningful engagement opportunities between AOF grantees and Apollo employees.
  • Organize and distribute volunteer collateral to all participants at AOF events across offices, including volunteer t-shirts and hats.
  • Collect all participation data following events, ensuring compliance with our systems and dashboards to capture robust metrics.
AOF Mission
  • Research virtual volunteer opportunities across the portfolio, and create a menu of volunteer organizations and event types to be added to an AOF Volunteer Guidebook.
  • Review impact reports of key competitors and best-in-class corporate and non-profit foundations to make recommendations on how to strengthen AOF's report.
  • Complete an audit of AOF brand assets; organize into a library and determine what other pieces are needed to present a robust brand image.
  • Perform ad hoc research and contribute to projects to drive the overall success of the Foundation.

Qualifications & Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (Academic, Professional, Experience)
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (Class of 2028) with an excellent academic record.
  • Demonstrated commitment to social impact and community service through work experience, academic coursework, extracurricular activities, and/or volunteer experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with demonstrated mastery of PowerPoint and Excel.
