Job description
The Accounting Associate will report to the e-Comm Finance & Accounting Manager and will assist with billing, and recording routine transactions and reconciliations associated with 80+ stores within the e-Comm business function.

- Maintains daily cash activity and books routine cash entries
- Enters credit card reports into general ledger
- Reconciles various basic general ledger accounts
- Prepares basic journal entries for month-end close
- Assists e-Comm Finance & Accounting Manager with general ledger analysis
- Runs month-end reports
- Researches and clears general ledger reconciling items
- Supports the Finance Team in the coordination of the quarterly review and annual audit with outside auditors, including preparation of work papers
- Maintains adequate documentation and support for financial records
Requirements
- Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of directly related experience (bookkeeping, accounting specialist)
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality financial reporting
- Intermediate Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks desirable, but not required
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong planning and organizational skills, self-motivated and resourceful in problem solving
