Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of critical IT and OT infrastructure projects within a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

This role will support a major greenfield production facility program, focused on the deployment of a state-of-the-art manufacturing site featuring advanced automation, digital technologies, smart factory systems, and highly integrated IT/OT infrastructure. The successful candidate will manage infrastructure delivery throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and corporate standards.

The position requires close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and technical teams in a complex international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of IT and OT infrastructure services throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope, budget, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate infrastructure implementation activities across multiple workstreams and vendors.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Logistics, Automation, and other business functions.
  • Ensure all infrastructure solutions comply with company standards, security policies, and quality requirements.
  • Drive implementation of network, server, workplace, security, and data center infrastructure.
  • Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project changes, dependencies, issues, and escalations.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior leadership.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, steering committee updates, and governance documentation.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to project management methodologies and standards.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and other Project Managers on larger program initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes and infrastructure implementation practices.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing complex IT Infrastructure projects in enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience with data center integration, migration, consolidation, or repurposing initiatives using a Brownfield approach.
  • Solid understanding of:
    • LAN/WAN networking
    • WiFi infrastructure
    • Switching and routing
    • Servers and storage solutions
    • Firewalls and cybersecurity technologies
    • Workplace and end-user computing environments
  • Experience delivering projects involving both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture and enterprise technology landscapes.
  • Experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or other validated manufacturing industries is a must.
  • Knowledge of GxP-regulated environments and FDA compliance requirements.
  • Experience working within validated systems and quality-controlled project environments.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with smart factory, Industry 4.0, or IoT/edge computing in manufacturing
  • Background in pharma, biotech, or validated process industries
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance platforms, automated quality systems, or data analytics for manufacturing
