Job description

Job Summary

A small Solon-area firm seeks a meticulous and competent person with experience in physics, electronics, or semiconductor fabrication. Applicantโ€™s primary duty is to fabricate components using an electron beam deposition system and lithography. Additionally, they will inspect components at different stages of production, monitor the stability of the components over time, and log manufacturing process data. On-the-job training will be provided.

The working location is on-site at Solon, OH. Working time flexible but preferably M-F 9AM - 5PM.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: High School Graduate, Vocational (Associate, Journeyman or Trade school is preferred). Bachelorโ€™s Degree optional.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in manufacturing or research. Vacuum system, clean-room experience is desirable.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and basic electrical/schematic drawings.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions required.

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to be detail-oriented, and dependability required.

  • Experience using hand tools, mechanical dexterity, and mechanical aptitude are required.
