As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Solidworks PDM admin to join our team and own a key system that drives/enables the engineering work flow.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced PDM Administrator to own the global workflow, configuration, documentation and user management within the engineering organization.. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, chemists and technicians to drive towards solutions that scale..

Responsibilities:

  • System Setup and Configuration:
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining the SOLIDWORKS PDM software and vaults.

  • User Management:
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the PDM system.

  • Workflow Management:
  • Creating, modifying, and managing workflows to ensure efficient data management processes.

  • Data Management:
  • Ensuring data integrity, implementing data management policies, and optimizing data storage and retrieval.

  • Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Providing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving support tickets.

  • Training and Documentation:
  • Developing training materials, conducting user training, and creating comprehensive system documentation.  Technical writing to facilitate onboarding new employees and scaling of capabilities.

  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborating with other teams (e.g., engineering, IT, quality assurance) to ensure data integrity and process optimization.

  • System Optimization:
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the PDM system, automate tasks, and enhance user productivity.

  • Compliance:
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • SolidWorks PDM Expertise:
  • Proven experience with SOLIDWORKS PDM administration, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills:
