Job description

Conax Technologies designs and manufactures precision-engineered sensors and assemblies for aerospace, medical, and industrial applications. We are seeking a Product Design Engineer Intern to support new and existing product development from concept through production.
Responsibilities
  • Create and update 3D CAD models and 2D drawings
  • Support design reviews, prototyping, and testing
  • Assist with design for manufacturability (DFM) and documentation
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams

Qualifications
  • Senior undergraduate or graduate student in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field
  • Strong CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills
  • Prior internship or advanced design project experience

Successful Candidate must be able to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) to gain access to technical data.
