Job description

We are full service professional civil and environmental engineering firm with over 50 years of recognized expertise in Land Development, Civil engineering design, planning and permitting; Solid waste design, closure and reporting, We have a solid, growing team with a reputation for working well with both public and private clients.

Responsibilities include, but aren't limited, to the following:

  • Develop and assess civil design documents including, but not limited to site development plans, local roads, complete streets, drainage and ADA compliant intersections, etc., Compost facility designs.

  • Ensure project costs, schedule, and performance targets are achieved

  • Serve as project manager/liaison between technical resources and clients, including attending client meetings, town halls, etc.

  • Engage in business development efforts

  • Mentor junior engineers and project managers

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

  • 6+ years of civil experience in municipal engineering, roadway design, hydraulic design, and project management

  • Project management/coordination skills and desire to help develop others

  • Experience with design and modeling software tools, specifically AutoCAD/Civil 3D

  • Strong communication and writing skills

  • Valid California driver's license

Desired Experience:

  • Active California P.E. license

  • Site development and MS4 stormwater regulations

  • Caltrans design standards

  • Construction management

  • Supervising or mentoring others
