  • Can you read complex blueprints and translate them into precise steel assemblies?
  • Do you take pride in clean fit-up, solid tacks, and welds that pass inspection?
  • Are you comfortable switching between MIG, TIG, and Stick as the job demands?
The Work
  • Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel components from drawings
  • Cut, assemble, and tack to spec before final welding
  • Inspect your work continuously to minimize distortion and eliminate defects
What Youโ€™ll Need
  • Proven structural steel experience
  • Blueprint literacy and strong fabrication/welding tool skills
  • Sharp attention to detail and quality
Pay
  • Fitters: $22โ€“$30/hr (based on experience)
  • Welders: $26โ€“$32/hr (based on experience)
Schedule Options โ€” Greater New Orleans Area
  • Day: 6:00 AM โ€“ 2:30 PM
