Job Position/Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, machinery functionality and Equipment Readiness for Daily Operations within assigned area of responsibility which includes Maintenance Department Staffing and Training. The Maintenance Technician is a Hands-On Technician, ensuring that all plant equipment, automated systems, machinery in general, and systems are operating efficiently to meet production needs and requirements. The Maintenance Technician develops and implements maintenance strategies, and schedules preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance activities, emergency repairs and scheduled repairs.

Coordinates maintenance activities throughout Production Needs and ALL other departments to ensure effective, efficient maintenance performance, and coordinates repairs and upgrades to minimize downtime and maximize productivity, also collaborates with other departments to optimize equipment performance, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Assist in the development of long-range planning in support of Production Needs and ALL other departments, and the company’s goals and objectives.

Essential Functions
Under general direction with periodic supervision or review performs the following:
• Monitors the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance needs of various types of Plant Machinery.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Completes all Work orders including preventive maintenance work.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production and plant machinery before, after, and during production time.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs before, after, and during production time.
• Perform, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of Plant Machinery, but not limited to Electrical, Electronic, programming, etc.
• Repairs and replaces wiring, equipment, and fixtures using various hand and power tools.
• Performs troubleshooting on down equipment and maximizes run time.
• Communicates with the Maintenance Team Members, Maintenance Supervisor, and/or Corporate Engineer to troubleshoot more complex issues and make recommendations for improvements.
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and maintains superior plant cleanliness.
• Adheres to all safety practices including wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follows all established company policies and practices. 
• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving equipment. 
• Specialized in light automation controls and complex electrical problems down to static devices. 
• AutoCAD drawings and schematics. 
• Work and Troubleshoot Controls, PID, servo drives, PLC, HMI programming (Factory-talk, In- touch, etc.), SCADA (Wonder-ware), Indu-Soft., VMS, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, ABB, etc. 
• Strong Electrical troubleshooting skills due to the fast-paced work environment. 
• Have experience in most Rockwell automation software (Rs Logix 5000 etc.), Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, VMS, and Automation Direct among others. 
• Skilled in preventative maintenance activities, inventory control, TPM Maintenance Environment, and PM procedures, since they are part of the daily work routine.

QUALIFICATIONS 
Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical-Electronic Engineer, Automation Engineer, Technical Engineer, Technology Level with 5+ years, plus Experience in areas described below:
