The Opportunity

You will play a pivotal role in securing new business and driving growth by delivering precise, competitive cost estimates. Working closely with executive leadership, your expertise directly impacts the company's profitability and market expansion. How You Will Make An Impact

  • Formulate comprehensive project estimates by calculating labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Analyze architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings to determine precise project scopes.
  • Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations to ensure optimal pricing and coverage alignment.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities to provide clients with strategic cost-saving alternatives.
  • Author detailed bid proposals, scope letters, qualifications, and pricing summaries for management review.
  • Facilitate seamless project turnover meetings to support project management teams post-award.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with general contractors, engineers, and suppliers across Metro Atlanta.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of dedicated electrical estimating experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems and construction methods.
  • Deep understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital file management systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong time management capabilities.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the Metro Atlanta area.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
  • Experience utilizing industry software such as Accubid, McCormick, Stack, or Bluebeam.
  • Proven track record estimating design-build and negotiated projects.
