Job Summary:

This role reports to the Associate General Counsel, Commercial Contracting. You will manage the full lifecycle of commercial contracts. You will support high volume contracting activity. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements. You will help enforce contracting standards and support the business with clear, timely legal guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including Master Service Agreements and supply agreements.

  • Manage contract workflows from intake through execution.

  • Maintain contract templates and playbooks.

  • Identify risk in contract terms and recommend practical solutions.

  • Coordinate with sales, procurement, finance, and operations.

  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies.

  • Support implementation of contracting procedures.

  • Track contract obligations and renewals.

  • Prepare summaries for internal stakeholders.

  • Support continuous improvement of contracting processes.

Qualifications:

  • JD and active bar admission in good standing.

  • 5+ years experience focused on commercial contracting.

  • Experience in the renewable energy industry required. Solar industry experience preferred.

  • Experience with procurement contracts or supply agreements.

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to assess legal risk in commercial terms.

  • Strong judgment.

  • Clear written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

  • Ability to collaborate across functions.

  • High ethical standards.
